Choosing to spend my time with Chua Thian Poh Community Leadership Centre, during my undergraduate career, was the best decision I made. The programme had not only furthered my interest in pertinent social issues, but also honed my skills in social research and community action. I have since started a full-time position in Action for AIDS (AfA) Singapore as the Research and Advocacy Executive, where I get to directly apply the skills I’ve picked up from CTPCLC – including in areas of programme design and development, advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation. I highly recommend this programme for all aspiring change-makers or non-profit professionals to give you a head start in your career!
