Online Approach to Keeping Seniors Happy and Healthy
CTPCLC student fellows Isiah Poon, Myat Thu Kyaw, and Willoughby Niki Lee launched the 4Hearts project as part of our Communicating Social Issues in Singapore module to engage elderly residents at nursing homes facing social isolation due to #COVID19 via online activities. The team now works with a network of six community partners including St Luke's ElderCare and Sree Narayana Mission to organise activities such as online Zoomba and art & craft sessions, as well as a volunteer training programme to encourage volunteerism.
