What do you like about CLC2202: Research Methods for Community Development?

I think it is very meaningful and it’s also very enriching especially if it is the first time that you are touching on anything that’s research-based, or you are coming here to further develop your research skills. I think it’s a very good stepping stone.

We also had some quantitative and qualitative data research that we can explore about. And for what I’ve learn right, I think it is very beneficial for me because I’m doing Nursing, so there’s are lot of modules or courses that I have to be in, it (CLC2202) actually incorporates a lot of research things that I have to learn. So, this is actually (how) it helped me and I think that most of us would actually one way or another use these research (skills) in our future life especially in our careers.

Any tips for prospective NUS students coming to the Open House 2025?

Don’t be nervous and prepare for your interviews that you want for all your courses and also, just plan ahead on what modules or electives you want to do when you come to NUS because there will be some balloting that will be going through. I think this is something new if you are coming from JC or Poly. So, do take note and do get prepared and enjoy yourself in Uni life.
